HEBRON HEALTH INITIATIVE
Our vision is to see our city and residents emerge as one of the healthiest. This is achieved by providing and supporting opportunities for increased physical activity, nutrition education and health promotion. The Fun, Fit, and Free Program seeks to educate and provide skills that prevent chronic disease and obesity through exercise and health promotion.
HEBRON EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY
Education.....we live in a new age--the age of Christ's coming when the gifts of God are offered to us. His greatest gift is that of his love by which he forms us and nurtures us and makes us his children
(Gal.4:3-7).
Christian education is concerned with God's good gifts, for it is one of the ways in which people can participate in the gift of God's love. When it appears to be more like a "stone" than "bread" in the nurture of the Christian life, it is time for the church to search out ways that will allow God's children of the 21st Century to participate once again in the gift of love and nurture offered them by God.
